Who I am
I am the Director of Library Teaching & Learning at Oklahoma State University Libraries in Stillwater, Oklahoma. I have a passion for education and life-long learning. My background is in writing and literature, so it is probably no surprise that I also love reading. (Jane Austen is bae.) Other hobbies include watching movies, cross-stitching, photography, and playing with my dogs. I also have a shameless addiction to chocolate and historical romance novels.

What I do
I work with our partner programs to promote, schedule, teach, and assess information literacy instruction. I also to build and strengthen the Library’s relationships with first year programs across campus. I supervise a team of 4 full-time librarians who are responsible for undergraduate and graduate student information literacy instruction and assessment, creation of online learning objects, and development of open educational resources. My primary research interests are library instruction, specifically aimed at first-year students and first-generation students, intersectionality in fan studies, critical pedagogy in information literacy.

More information about my professional experience and education can be found on the Education & Experience page. My research, including publications and presentations, in available on the Scholarly Activities page.
